Study Buddy SocNet Cramster Raises $3M

cramster.png
We know a number of people who have turned to Internet education and find it very natural and appealing. A clear shortcoming is that the tools for online education are still fairly crude. So we buy into the idea of a startup that is investing in a social network for online study, particularly if they can roll out functionality that you can't find elsewhere and perhaps if they can connect with online universities. Right now we are not seeing a lot of special sauce here.

Pasadena's Cramster has raised $3M led by investor Shai Reshef. Reshef was Chairman of test-prep's Kidum, which he sold to Kaplan.
