Online Capture The Flag's Turf.net Raises Seed Round
Turf.net has raised $225K in seed funding from Harrison Metal Capital. It had raised $225K from Y-combinator back in January. The company is led by 4 co-founders who recently graduated from Harvard and Yale - one of them is currently employed at Google but is moonlighting on Turf.net.
Turf.net is a fun, if simple Google Maps-based game that allows local communities to play on their own area maps. The game started on the campus of Yale University and spread to some other campuses.
