Amateur Sports' Network TeamPages Raises Further Funding

Vancouver's TeamPages has raised an undisclosed amount of second-round funding from Burda Digital Ventures, W Media Ventures and angels.

TeamPages calls itself the MySpace for amateur sports - an online social network and utility that allows amateur sports teams and players to create their own profiles, post schedules, statistics, photos, news, and contact information, and communicate with one another by through team message boards, email reminders, and notes. The startup says that 1200-1400 teams are registering each month.
