Trench Angel Funded For Fantasty Football

trenches.png
Seattle's Trench Fantasy has raised an angel round of funding for its fantasy football online business. Backing comes, from of all places, a Sacramento electrical contractor called Elite Power. The $250K funding came about as the owner of Elite Power is high school buddies with Trenches founder and former Microsoft exec Eric Koivisto.

There does not seem to be much different or special about the trenches site and sports is a poor performing ad sector that requires huge traffic numbers to earn any real dollars. Trenches suggests that fantasy players are open to playing on multiple sites and we that might be true.
