Certify.com Raises $1.9M In Angel Funding For Expense Management

Having just returned from a couple of short trips and now needing to work on expenses, we are open eared to the hassles of expenses. Portland, Maine-based has raised $1.9M in angel funding who include Esther Dyson and former TD BankNorth CEO William Ryan.

The company sells this portable scanner for $139. It is nothing new as similar models have been on the market for some time. The primary offering is a hosted platform for managing your expenses and for your manager to manage company-wide expenses. Fees are $5 per month for individual plans and a range of fees for a corporate plans.

Features include mobile support, the ability to scan your receipts via your PC camera, emailing your receipts to a wallet. For the corporate expense manager, they get analytics to see what the company is spending as well as policy enforcement.
