CrispyGamer Buys SocNet GamerDNA

New York-based Crispy Gamer has acquired GamerDNA out of Cambridge, MA. Crispy Gamer makes editorial content for gamers while GamerDNA is a social media site for gamers. It would appear that GamerDNA was not getting the momentum that investors hoped for after all these years.
Crispy Gamer has raised $8.25M from Constellation Ventures while GamerDNA has raised more than $3M led by Flybridge Capital Partners. No financial terms were disclosed for the deal.
GamerDNA was founded by Jon Radoff who launched the startup in September 2006. He previously founded ePrise, a content management company that went public on the NASDAQ.
