Germany's Apprupt Raises Funding as To Pay For Mobile App Downloads

Hamburg, Germany-based Apprupt has closed a financing round with Deutsche Telekom and existing investor Neuhaus Partners. Details on the funding were not disclosed.
Apprupt runs a performance marketing network for mobile apps. It allows mobile app publisher to arbitrage their mobile app download fees against paying Apprupt to get those downloads. To get users, Abbrupt has partnered with sites to power white label app recommendation services.
Apprupt competes with the likes of OfferMobi, MobParnter and YepRevenue, but Abbrupt has a focus on Europe where it has few competitors.
