Content Management's Day Software Gets $240M Buyout From Adobe

We understand the Swiss economy is humming along - at least by European standards. Today it could some notice in the technology arena as Day Software was bought by Adobe for $240M.
Day Software is an enterprise content management software company with its HQ in Basel, Switzerland and Boston. Day Software was founded in 1993 in Basel and is publicly traded at SIX: DAYN. For 2010 Day reported 80% license growth
Day's most important product is Day Communiqué WCM, a Web content management system that is used for public-facing websites and intranets of large corporations such as McDonald's and Daimler.
Day reported revenues of 25.1M Swiss francs ($23.7M) and net income of 3.7M Swiss francs ($3.49M) for the first half of this year.
