Thin-film solar module manufacturer Sulfurcell announced that it has landed supply agreements in China and India totaling over 16 megawatts (MW). The German-based manufacturer did not announce the exact terms of the deal.

Sulfurcell will be supplying over 10 MW of solar panels to an unnamed company in China. According to Sulfurcell, the company will be utilizing the solar panels on large construction projects and building integration applications in mainland China. The sale is Surfacell's first in Asia.

In India Sulfurcell will be providing over 6 MW of solar modules to the Prime Group of New Dehli. Having developed technologies for a vast number of industries and purposes, Prime Group appears to be moving into solar integrating as they plan on using the modules for commercial rooftop projects.

Founded in 2003 and headquartered in Berlin, Sulfurcell markets its German-made copper indium selenide (CIS) thin-film solar modules in three different designs. Sulfurcell's CIS thin-film modules are now available to customers in the U.S. as the company opened a sales office in Southern California last month.
