Subject: R.F.Q. FOR A TWO EVENT TIMER WITH LCD DISPLAY

Hello,

We are looking for someone to manufacture timers with two daily events with a LCD display running on a 6v power supply (4 AA ) to drive a servo motor. (vary similar to your travel alarm clocks)

OUR REQUIREMENTS
1. The unit will need to have to daily programmable events in a 24 hr. period. When the event takes place it will need to drive the servo motor from 0 to the 90 deg. Position and hold it for 4 seconds then return to the 0 position on each event.
2. The servo motor needs to be able to develop 10 inch pounds of torque. We tested with a S-80 sub micro servo and it worked fine.
3. The LCD display will show the time of day except for when the events are being set. When events are being set the display will say event 1 before the time set and the second will say event 2 before the time set.
4. We would like to have the timer about 2 1/2 inches wide by 2 inches tall by 1/4 inch thick with 4 mounting holes in each corner to mount this unit to our enclosure. The battery tray and servo will need 5 inches of wire attached to them to be mounted in their positions in our enclosure.

If you can manufacture this for us would you give us a quote on 10 prototype units. And a price for buying them 1,000 units at a time, and a price foe 5,000 units at a time.
